The 1915 Unisex Duster by Metta Melbourne is inspired by an original design worn by horsemen to protect their clothing from trail dust in the late 1800's. It was later adapted and used for protection in automobile attire. The design team at Metta stumbled upon such a duster and were inspired to make their own version from a versatile and trans-seasonal mid-wieght linen.
With a full button front, generous side pockets and raglan sleeves which make it great for layering in the cooler months, the 1915 Duster is finished beautifully and with Japanese-made buttons.
The 1915 Duster Jacket has been pre-washed and will soften further with wash and wear.
