Among Equals Bilum bags are handwoven in Papua New Guinea. Every woven bag is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art specific to the weaver and her home. The Zig Zag or Snake pattern is one loved by many weavers and speaks to the belief that some ancestors take the form of snakes.
Handwoven from acrylic and wool yarn as well as upcycled knitwear using traditional weaving techniques.
